Posted in Shopify on 25 February 2024

Setting sales prices in your Shopify store is a straightforward process that can help boost sales and attract customers. Follow these steps to effectively set sales prices for your products:

1. Log in to Your Shopify Account:

Open your web browser and navigate to the Shopify website. Log in to your Shopify account using your username and password.

2. Edit the Product:

Once logged in, you will land on your Shopify dashboard. Click on the “Products” tab located on the left-hand side of the screen.

Browse through your list of products and select the one you want to offer at a discounted price.

Once you’ve selected the product, click on its name to enter the product editor.

3. Set the Sales Price:

  • Within the product editor, locate the “Pricing” section. Under “Price”, you’ll find the current price of the product.
  • Click on the current price to edit it.
  • Enter the discounted price you wish to offer during the sale period.

4. Schedule the Sale (Optional):

  • Beneath the price field, you’ll find an option to schedule the sale.
  • Click on “Schedule price change”.
  • Choose the start and end dates for the sale period.
  • Ensure the sale dates align with your marketing strategy and any promotional campaigns you have planned.

5. Save Your Changes:

Once you’ve entered the discounted price and, if applicable, scheduled the sale, click on the “Save” button to apply the changes.

Double-check the product details, including the new sales price and sale dates, to ensure accuracy. Confirm that the changes are reflected correctly before proceeding.

If you have more products you wish to offer at discounted prices, repeat the above steps for each product. After setting the sales prices, regularly monitor the performance of your products during the sale period. Analyse sales data to determine the effectiveness of your pricing strategy and make adjustments as needed.

By following these steps, you can effectively set sales prices for your products in Shopify, helping to drive customer engagement and boost sales for your online store.
